Store name and the Shopify-managed policy

The store name shown in verified Shopify General information is Ukkio. The store information available to us does not verify a legal entity name or suffix. The Shopify-managed Privacy Policy currently includes the name “CONTROLLER LLC” in its contact section. We have not verified that name and do not represent it as Ukkio’s legal name. The native policy is automatically managed by Shopify and has not been edited by this notice. For privacy questions, use the verified Ukkio contact details on this page.

Information we collect and where it comes from

Depending on your use of the Services and applicable law, information may include:

  • Contact and delivery details: name, email, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and other details you enter when contacting us or placing an order.
  • Account and preference details: account identifiers, saved settings, and preferences if you create or use an account.
  • Order and transaction details: products viewed, cart contents, purchases, cancellations, payment method and confirmation, shipping status, return requests, refunds, and related transaction records.
  • Communications: information you choose to include in an email, contact form, or support request.
  • Device and usage details: IP address, browser and device characteristics, network information, identifiers, pages or features used, and interaction timing.

Information can come directly from you, automatically through the website and cookies or similar technologies, from Shopify or other service providers supporting a feature, and from partners or other third parties where applicable. The Shopify-managed policy provides its full categories and source descriptions.

How information is used

Information may be used to operate and secure the storefront; create and administer an account; remember cart contents and preferences; process an order and payment; arrange shipping; provide tracking information when available; respond to product, order, privacy, and return questions; review and process cancellations, returns, and refunds; prevent fraud or misuse; meet legal obligations; resolve disputes; maintain records; improve the store; and, when configured and permitted, measure or personalize marketing and advertising.

Order, payment, delivery, support, and returns

When you place an order, the information needed to identify the order, receive payment confirmation, deliver the items, communicate about the order, and handle a return or refund is used for those purposes. Payment information is submitted through the payment option selected at checkout. Do not send a full card number, CVV, account password, or one-time verification code by email. A checkout review for one U.S. order on October 21, 2026 displayed credit card, Shop Pay, and PayPal options; payment options can vary by order and checkout is authoritative. A shipping carrier is selected for an order when applicable; a complete carrier vendor list has not been verified. See the Payment Information, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy.

Service providers and other disclosures

Shopify provides the online store platform and Shopify checkout. Google Maps is embedded directly on the Home and Contact pages; loading either map sends a request to Google and may disclose your IP address and browser, device, network, and map-request information to Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Terms.

Payment options displayed at checkout may involve Shopify, the selected payment provider, or both. Delivery information may be shared with the carrier handling an order. Service providers may process information to provide the service requested, subject to their role and applicable terms. Information may also be disclosed to comply with law, protect people or services, address a dispute, or support a permitted business transfer.

The current server-side pixel and complete app or advertising-provider configuration could not be verified from the available store readback. We therefore do not identify an unverified analytics or advertising vendor, and this notice does not claim that such activity is either enabled or disabled. The store’s October 21, 2026 Shopify privacy-settings readback showed the privacy policy and privacy banner are auto-managed and the banner setting is disabled.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and similar technologies can store or read information in a browser or device. Depending on the feature and current settings, they may be used for:

  • Necessary functions: core storefront, security, cart, and checkout operation.
  • Preferences: remembering choices such as locale, language, or other settings when those features are used.
  • Analytics: understanding visits and use of the store when analytics features are configured.
  • Advertising: measuring or personalizing advertising, or recognizing activity across services, when advertising features are configured.

The precise cookies, lifetimes, and vendors depend on the feature, browser, and current store configuration. The available readback did not establish which optional analytics or advertising pixels are active. The Shopify privacy banner setting was reported as disabled on October 21, 2026; do not infer from the absence of a banner that optional technologies are off. You can manage browser cookies in your browser settings. The separate Your Privacy Choices control presents opt-out choices about data sharing; it is not a full browser-cookie preference panel.

Retention and security

Information is retained as needed to provide the Services, maintain an account, complete and support orders, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable agreements. A fixed store-specific retention schedule has not been verified. Shopify’s native policy explains that no security measure is perfect and that information sent over an unsecured channel may not be secure in transit. Do not email sensitive payment credentials or verification codes.

Children

The Shopify-managed policy states that the Services are not intended for children and that personal information is not knowingly collected from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information may contact us at support@ukkio.com so the request can be reviewed and handled as required by applicable law.

International processing

Shopify or a service provider may store or process information outside your country. The Shopify-managed Privacy Policy describes its approach to international transfers, including recognized transfer mechanisms for transfers from the EEA or United Kingdom where relevant. See the full Shopify-managed policy for those details.

U.S. state privacy rights and choices

Depending on your state of residence and whether a law applies to the processing, you may have rights to access or know, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; opt out of sale or sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; and, where provided by law, limit certain uses of sensitive information. The Shopify-managed policy describes the rights available under its terms. These rights may have exceptions and may require verification.

To make a request other than the opt-out choices shown on the control, email support@ukkio.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject, or call (720) 764-2194. State the right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant interaction. We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted; we may ask for evidence of authorization and may verify your identity directly. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, CVV codes, or one-time codes.

Response periods vary by applicable law. For a request covered by the Colorado Privacy Act, the response period is 45 days after receipt. If reasonably necessary, that period may be extended once by an additional 45 days; notice of the extension and the reason must be provided within the original 45 days. If we decline a request covered by that law, we will explain the decision and how to appeal. You may submit an appeal by emailing support@ukkio.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject within a reasonable period after the decision. A Colorado appeal response is due within 45 days; where reasonably necessary, it may be extended by up to 60 additional days, with notice and reasons within the first 45 days. See the Colorado Attorney General’s request-timing guidance and Colorado Revised Statutes, section 6-1-1306 for the applicable request and appeal rules. If you have concerns about a Colorado appeal result, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General. Other state-law deadlines and procedures apply where relevant.

The Shopify-managed policy states that, where applicable, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal is treated as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending the signal and may be associated with an account if Shopify can do so. Learn about GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org. The existing Your Privacy Choices page contains Shopify’s opt-out form, including the option to associate a request with an account by entering an email. You can also unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in those emails; necessary order or account messages may still be sent.
